WHAT YOUR EXPERIENCE LOOKS LIKE

• An Engineering degree in a relevant discipline from an accredited University.
• Registered as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng) with the Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO).
• Minimum of (6) years continuous experience in detailed design and design consultancy.
• Knowledge of IES-RP-21 and Roadway lighting and Parking lot lighting.
• Previous experience in Transportation and Transit projects is a must.
• Experience with advanced lighting design tools (AGi32 and Autolux).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
• Experience with AutoCAD, MicroStation and SPIDACalc.
• Knowledge of industry/regulatory codes and standards (CSA, OBC, NFPA, AREMA and IEEE standards).
• Experience with electrical design tools/software such as. ETAP, and SKM would be considered an asset.Knowledge of electrical calculations (short circuit, load flow, protection coordination, arc flash, cable sizing, and lighting design).
