Sulzer Australia, a renowned leader in services for rotating equipment, is seeking a Project Engineer to enhance our Maitland Service Centre operations. In this pivotal role, you’ll manage technical projects, delivering top-notch solutions to clients in power generation, petrochemicals, mining, and heavy manufacturing.
As a Project Engineer, you’ll report directly to the Service Centre Manager, producing accurate estimates and managing technical projects.

Responsibilities:

Supervise operational activities within the workshop
Support the sales team to meet financial objectives
️ Promote Sulzer’s safety culture and practices
Strengthen long-term customer relationships
Bridge the gap between workshop and clients
Monitor workshop activities and outcomes for clients
‍ Serve as the technical expert for the workshop and clients
Provide detailed technical calculations and designs

️ Compile reports on assigned projects

  • ️ Ensure safe work and quality assurance practices

Liaise with customers on estimations
Coordinate with vendors for technical and commercial enquiries
️ Collaborate with the engineering team for reverse engineering needs
Manage in-house and on-site projects
Utilize internal resources to meet company requirements
Participate in weekly project update meetings
