We are looking for a Project Engineer to join our Services UK & Nordics team in Birmingham.

This is your opportunity to manage complex engineering projects from one of the UK’s most advanced facilities, featuring state-of-the-art technology and seamless digital workflows.

YOUR MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support Project Managers with planning, coordination, and execution of engineering projects.
• Assist in defining project scopes, resource needs, and schedules.
• Review technical drawings and specifications, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external suppliers to keep projects on track.
• Monitor budgets, support cost control, and prepare documentation for tenders and changes.
• Ensure quality plans are in place and support inspections, testing, and reporting.
• Conduct technical risk assessments and help develop mitigation strategies.

TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL NEED:

• A recognised in engineering or business, or substantial relevant experience in a related industry.
• Proven experience in managing complex projects and commercial contracts.
• Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, adaptable environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with SAP or other ERP systems is desirable.
