RINA is currently recruiting for a Project Engineer - System Engineering to join its office in United Arab Emirates and Bangladesh within the Project Engineering Division.

MISSION

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Project Engineer with a strong interdisciplinary background in System Engineering, RAM and Safety Assurance for large-scale railway and mobility infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating technical activities across multiple subsystems, ensuring compliance with international standards, and supporting the integration of safety and reliability processes throughout the project lifecycle.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Coordinate and support the development of system-level engineering documentation, including RAM and safety deliverables.
  • Manage project interfaces between civil, MEP, and technological subsystems, ensuring alignment with system requirements.
  • Contribute to the definition and implementation of safety and RAM processes in accordance with CENELEC standards (EN5012x) and CSM-RA.
  • Assist in the preparation of technical specifications, hazard logs, RAM analyses, and safety cases.
  • Collaborate with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure timely and quality delivery of engineering outputs.
  • Participate in feasibility studies, operational readiness assessments, and system integration activities.
  • Support fire safety and evacuation strategy development using simulation tools (e.g., CFD, SES).
  • Provide input during tender phases, including technical reviews and documentation audits.

EDUCATION

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Degree in Engineering, Physics, or a related technical discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience in project engineering within railway or mobility infrastructure sectors.
  • Familiarity with RAMS methodologies, system assurance, and safety regulations.
  • Experience working on international projects and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills; fluency in English is required.
  • Knowledge of OpenTrack, SimWalk, and CFD modeling tools or similar tools.
  • Experience in fire safety engineering, system integration, and technical auditing.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and stakeholders in complex project environments.
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
