Job Purpose
Based onshore, the Operations Engineer coordinates Light Well Intervention (LWI) and Riserless Coil Tubing Operations (RLCT) and carries out customer, alliance partner, and supplier follow-up.
The Operations Engineer develops and ensures implementation of Operation Execution Plan on a given project, in accordance with Industry and Company Standards, Operation Execution Plan, and Operational Procedures.

Job Description

  • Creates and reviews operational procedure for offshore activities
  • Supports Operations Manager on technical issues
  • Coordinates technical solutions required for each different operation, and their implementation on the vessels - ensuring that all equipment works as intended during operation
  • Reviews contract, technical specification, client plans and procedures; and manages and closes gaps
  • Prepares MEL, deck plans, lifting plans, estimates schedule and sequences
  • Presents mob / demob plans to stakeholders and coordinate during the mobilization phase
  • Collects and prepares documentation for the “as-built” dossier / end-of-well report of the operation
  • Arranges and participates in HAZID, HAZOP, Risk Assessments; and manages risks identified
  • Attends Engineering Reviews and distributes information to the relevant parties
  • Acts as main technical contact with suppliers to define technical solutions / equipment, cost, delivery dates
  • Coordinates with logistics for issuing PO’s to relevant suppliers, and follow-up with suppliers to ensure delivery in accordance with agreements

You are meant for this Job if you have:

  • University degree in engineering
  • Previous experience in Subsea Engineering and Offshore Operations
  • Knowledge on technology and assets in offshore installation
  • Knowledge of interfaces and requirements related to vessel mobilization
  • Knowledge of discipline tools and procedures
  • Analysis and problem solving
  • Fluency in Norwegian and English
  • Good interpersonal skills
