Job Description:
As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for assisting in the planning, design, coordination, and management of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems on construction projects. You will work closely with project teams, contractors, and clients to ensure that MEP systems are installed, tested, and delivered according to specifications, timelines, and budget constraints.
· MEP System Design & Coordination: Assist in the design and coordination of MEP systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing) to ensure seamless integration into the project.
· Project Support: Provide technical support during all stages of the project, from design to execution, and ensure compliance with project requirements and standards.
· Site Supervision: Monitor and supervise MEP works on-site to ensure proper installation, quality control, and adherence to safety and project specifications.
· Material Procurement: Assist in selecting and procuring materials and equipment for MEP systems, ensuring they meet the required specifications and standards.
· Quality Control & Testing: Conduct inspections and testing of MEP systems to ensure they meet regulatory and quality standards before final handover.
· Collaboration: Work closely with other engineering disciplines (civil, structural) and subcontractors to ensure the effective integration of all systems.
· Documentation & Reporting: Prepare reports, technical documents, and progress updates related to MEP works for senior engineers and project managers.
Requirements:
· Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
· Experience: 2 to 5 years of experience working on MEP systems within construction projects.
· Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with MEP design, installation, and commissioning processes, and understanding of relevant codes and standards.
· Software Skills: Proficiency in design and project management software (AutoCAD, Revit, MS Project, or similar).
· Certifications: Any relevant certifications or training in MEP systems, construction management, or related fields is a plus.
· Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
· Other Points: Swimming Pool Experience candidates will be prioritized.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From AED5,000.00 per month
