Due to our continued growth and success we have are recruiting for a Project Engineer to join our team.
The Village Bakery, an award-winning family bakery, is currently looking for a Project Engineer to complement an existing passionate and enthusiastic team.

As a member of our Engineering Team you will be directly contributing to this vision through your core tasks and responsibilities these will include, but are not limited to:

• Supporting the Projects Manager with the planning, building, installation and commissioning of all elements of new build project work across the Village Bakery Group. Current live projects include;
• Build and Commissioning of a new extension - 70,000 sq/ft bakery on the Wrexham Industrial estate campus.
• Ensuring there is a safe environment for those who work in, or visit, any of our manufacturing facilities.
• Identifying and delivering against opportunities to implement changes and continuous improvement projects to maximise plant efficiencies and energy optimisation.
• Managing projects contractor performance whilst on site to ensure the most effective and efficient fix.
• Supporting the introduction of new equipment to our market-leading production facilities as part of our continued drive for innovation.
• Building effective relationships and communicating clearly with stakeholders, managing expectations where required.
• Continuous professional development through industry specific training.
• Working with our technical team to ensure audit readiness at all times.
• Hours of work are Monday to Friday – 8am to 5pm

The successful candidate for this role will need to demonstrate the following skills, qualifications and attributes:
