We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer – Transmission to help us in a bid win deliver role. This position will initially be office based supporting our team on major tenders and transition into a project-based role. The role can be based in Sydney, Brisbane or Melbourne. What will a day in this role look like: · Read and analyze scopes of work, contract documents, and project specification and extract key requirements and deliverables from technical and commercial documentation. · Review and interpret engineering drawings and develop clear and comprehensive scopes of work that align with specifications and standards. · Collaborate with estimators to support pricing, tender development, and bid submissions and conduct technical evaluations of supplier and subcontractor proposals. · Manage project budgets and ensure alignment with cost plans. · Implement and manage QA processes, including preparation and review of Inspection Test Plans (ITPs) and Inspection Test Records (ITRs). What are we looking for you to bring to the team: • A degree in civil, structural, or electrical engineering or related field, recognized in Australia. • Proven experience in construction of Transmission Lines (Foundations, Assembly and Erection or Stringing) • Familiarity with Australian standards and regulations, including safety and environmental compliance (e.g WHS, AS/NZS standards). • Ability to manage schedules, budgets, and resources effectively, with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
