We are currently seeking a Project Engineer to help serve our connection of clients and community. Your Primary Responsibilities will include Preparation of reports, construction plans, and technical specifications for projects Working under supervision of a project manager or senior-level team member and assist with tasks including preparing engineering related calculations, drawings, and visual aids Perform site visits and field observations before and during construction Able to conduct field work, tolerate variable environmental conditions, walk on uneven surfaces, and lift and carry at least 50 pounds, when needed Following corporate quality procedures Collaborating with design teams consisting of multidiscipline design engineers, technicians and planners Ensure that projects comply with local regulations and safety standards Maintain proper documentation of projects, including design changes, reports, and test results Stay updated on industry standards, building codes, and software advancements Take initiative to learn new skills or technologies that improve project efficiency or design What you'll need Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university Experience with AutoCAD, Civil3D and Microstation 1+ years of experience providing engineering design for storm water. wastewater, transportation, and or site development engineering projects Excellent organizational and time management skills Ability to work effectively in a team environment Course work in water resources, transportation, or relevant coursework EIT OR PE preferred Gonzalez Offers Competitive Benefits including: Competitive salary Major medical, dental and vision insurance Flexible Spending Account Health Savings Account 401K Bonus program Paid holidays and generous paid time off Professional development A team of creative and talented individuals to work alongside Gonzalez is a rapidly growing, dynamic, professional services firm specializing in civil engineering, construction management, and construction inspection.
