We are looking for a Project Engineer/Senior Switchgear Designer Secondary Protection/Substations (m/f/d) for our headquarters in Grafenrheinfeld, starting immediately.

Your tasks


These are the areas of work that await you:

  • Independent handling of projects in the field of secondary technology for substations and energy supply systems
  • Planning and design of:
  • Protective and control cabinets
  • Communication and network cabinets
  • AC/DC power supply cabinets
  • UPS and battery systems
  • Protection systems for transformers, cables and switchgear

Creation of circuit diagrams, terminal diagrams, cable and assembly diagrams

Maintenance and further development of engineering standards and libraries

Support with FAT, SAT and commissioning responsibility and technical expertise

Technical support for sales

Production coordination

Your qualification


This is what makes you stand out:

  • Completed studies or further training as a technician/master craftsman in the field of electrical engineering
  • Several years of professional experience in the planning of switchgear, substations or power supply systems
  • Safe handling of EngineeringBase
  • Knowledge of EPLAN Electric P8 (version 2025) is desirable.
  • Experience in technical project management and customer support
  • Ideally, you have practical experience in handling the following planning and concept documents:
  • Single Line Diagrams (SLD)
  • Protection concepts and protection philosophies
  • Station control technology concepts
  • IEC 61850 communication concepts
  • Network and communication structures
  • Signal and data point lists
  • Cabinet and system concepts
  • AC/DC self-consumption concepts
