Description
 You'll evaluate and approve design calculations for geared and bearing components in wind turbines according to internationally accepted design standards like ISO or IEC 61400 series. The job includes evaluation of gearboxes and bearings (e.g. main, pitch and yaw gearbox/bearing) among other mechanical components within the nacelle of wind turbines.  The expert will also support the evaluation of dynamics and resonance of the drivetrain through multibody analysis. Additionally, you will inspect customer factories to ensure proper implementation of the evaluated designs. Mechanical analysis according to international standards will be the main technical aspects of the job.  Strong documentation and communication skills are essential for this role, as the successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating with clients and a cross functional global team.
