Description

Represent Industrialization in all phases of NPI and continuation projects.

  • Lead and support NPI/Continuation Engineering projects.
  • Collaborate with design teams to transition PCBA from development to manufacturing.
  • Define and implement Design for Manufacturing (DFM) & Design for Assembly (DFA) guidelines.
  • Develop and update the Manufacturing Specification Design Plan.
  • Identify requirements for assembly equipment, tooling, and fixtures; support procurement, installation, and validation.
  • Lead PFMEA (Process Failure Mode Effects Analysis) activities.
  • Create and maintain Documented Work Instructions (DWI).
  • Track product manufacturing cost throughout the NPI project.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety requirements.
  • Manage and communicate project timelines and action plans to deliver solutions on time and within budget.
  • Mentor and guide peers in the Industrialization Design PCBA team to build technical expertise

  • Required Skills & Expertise
  • Bachelor of Science in Industrial, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering (advanced degrees a plus).
  • 8+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment (electronics preferred).
  • Strong understanding of the New Product Introduction (NPI) process.
  • Proficiency in Project Management and Lean Six Sigma tools & methodologies.
  • Expertise in DFM, DFA, PFMEA, DWIs, tooling, and fixtures.
  • Experience with SAP or other ERP systems.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional project teams.
