Company Description Veolia Water Tech is a leading specialist in water treatment solutions. As part of our growth strategy, we are looking to expand our engineering team at our Tienen office. Job Description As Project Engineer in our water treatment division, you will play a vital role in designing and implementing innovative water and wastewater reuse installations. Your responsibilities will span the entire project lifecycle, from initial design to final commissioning. You will work directly with customers, ensuring clear communication and maintaining detailed documentation of all agreements and meetings. Project progress monitoring and follow-up will be key aspects of your role. Working closely with our headquarters in Paris, you will manage the technical and commercial aspects of projects, including preparing requests for quotations, analyzing technical specifications, and evaluating supplier proposals. You'll be responsible for procurement decisions and order placement, while maintaining project schedules and coordinating with various stakeholders. A significant part of your role involves managing subcontractors on site and overseeing the crucial commissioning phase, ensuring smooth start-up of installations. Based at our office in Tienen, you'll have the flexibility to work partially from home, allowing for an optimal work-life balance while maintaining strong connections with the team. Qualifications Be prepared to learn a lot about engineering (including mechanical engineering) on the job in a short period of time; Being able to work independently and in team; Hands-on and down to earth; Being flexible in both time and places. The projects are located all over Flanders; During the commissioning phase, you will be nearly 100% of the on-site.
