Description We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Project Engineer to join our growing team. This hybrid role bridges the gap between engineering and sales by generating technically accurate, competitive proposals and managing commercial HVAC construction projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate is technically proficient, organized, and confident in managing multiple projects while ensuring alignment with engineering standards, customer needs, and internal goals. Responsibilities not limited to: Engineering Support Create custom technical details for pre- and post-award phases. Serve as liaison between the engineering and sales departments. Facilitate change requests, communicating impacts on scope, budget, and schedule. Project Management Analyze project documentation to ensure compliance with specifications and codes. Manage HVAC commercial construction projects from initiation through completion. Use pricing schedules and internal tools to develop accurate proposals. Monitor project progress, maintain timelines, and adjust as needed. Collaborate with clients, engineers, and subcontractors to align goals and deliverables. Sales & Customer Support Generate quotes, submittals, and transmittals using internal resources. Conduct job site inspections and provide detailed technical reports. Support strategic sales initiatives and maintain accurate project records. Provide technical training and support for internal teams and customers. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering is preferred but will consider other engineering degrees. ANSI/ASHRAE/IES standards knowledge a big plus. Experience in commercial construction or HVAC engineering preferred not required. Experience with vibration isolation and seismic/wind restraint is a plus. Strong mathematical and analytical skills. Proficiency in Excel; familiarity with AutoCAD, Bluebeam and Inventor is preferred. Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
