Job Description Summary We are looking for a driven and analytical Project Engineer to lead productivity and waste reduction initiatives within our manufacturing operations. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to perform deep root cause analysis to drive sustainable improvements in efficiency, quality, and cost. Job Description Key Responsibilities: Lead and support productivity improvement and waste reduction projects across production lines. Analyze production and waste data to identify inefficiencies, loss areas, and improvement opportunities. Conduct structured root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring issues such as machine downtime, quality defects, and material waste. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Production, Quality, Technical, Planning) to implement corrective and preventive actions. Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to productivity, waste, and cost savings. Facilitate Kaizen events and continuous improvement workshops focused on waste elimination and process optimization. Document and standardize best practices for deployment across other lines or sites. Support training and capability building for operators and shift leaders on improvement tools and waste awareness. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or related field). 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or operations environment. Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI, etc.). Proven problem-solving ability using structured methodologies (e.g., 5 Whys, Fishbone, DMAIC). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to work effectively in a team setting. Experience in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement frameworks is a plus. Preferred Attributes: Passionate about driving operational excellence and reducing waste. Self-motivated and proactive in identifying and solving problems.
