Responsibilities
  • Build strong relationships with clients, architects, and vendors to facilitate future planning and contribute to Weis Builders’ ongoing growth
  • Assist with material take-offs, gather subcontractor and supplier quotes, prepare project schedules, and assist with subcontractor award processes
  • Implement cost and time-saving measures, obtain necessary permits, assist with field start-up activities, generate reports as needed, manage the submittal process, and submit weekly OFIs (Opportunities for Improvement) for future projects
  • Collaborate with the Project Coordinator to obtain final closeout documents, prepare project records for storage, and assist with warranty follow-ups
  • Develop a solid understanding of building codes and design principles, continually improve technical and managerial skills, and assist in ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget
    Travel: This position includes regular travel to out-of-state construction project sites, typically one to two days every other week.
