JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a Project Engineer to coordinate the technical delivery of Ziptrek’s SWITCHBACK ride systems — ensuring projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards.
This role bridges project planning, technical requirements, and cross-functional execution, providing oversight across project lifecycles from initial planning to final installation. Working closely with the Manufacturing Systems Coordinator and key internal teams, you’ll play a critical role in keeping projects organized, on track, and aligned with Ziptrek’s growth strategy.
With opportunities for hands-on involvement, global project delivery, and collaboration across engineering, manufacturing, and operations — this role offers a unique chance to help shape Ziptrek’s next generation of innovative ride systems.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related technical field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in technical project coordination, engineering project management, or similar.
  • Industry experience in Automation, Mechatronics or Electrical Engineering (Electronics) prefered but not essential

TECHNICAL SKILLS

  • Familiarity with technical drawings, specifications, and engineering documentation.
  • Proficiency with project management software and scheduling tools (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Smartsheet).
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control, and technical coordination.

SOFT SKILLS

  • Strong organizational and project management abilities with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills to work across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Problem-solving mindset with a proactive, collaborative approach.

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Willingness to travel for site scoping, installation, and commissioning.
  • Ability to interpret technical information and coordinate effectively with engineering and manufacturing teams.
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic, growth-focused environment.
