Description As a full time, paid Project Engineering Intern at Gits Manufacturing, you will have the opportunity to work directly with the Engineering team to assist in project and design work. Creates &/or modifies product designs & drawings using CAT tools, product data management systems, and risk analysis tools. Verifies designs through engineering calculations, modeling, and/or simulations such as CFD and FEA. Assist in engineering tool creation and process mapping. Assist in technical problem solving. Requirements A student of Junior or Senior academic standing, pursuing a bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite Strong written and verbal communication skills Willingness to learn and be part of a collaborative team Upholds organizational values and integrity Ability to handle confidential materials with discretion and accuracy. Willing to be located onsite at GITs Manufacturing in Urbandale, IA

Responsibilities

The intern will work directly with the Engineering team, assisting with project and design work, which includes creating or modifying product designs and drawings using specialized tools.
