Responsibilities

YOUR ROLE:

We have an exciting opportunity for a Lead Project Engineer to join our team on site in Irvine. In this role you will be responsible for leading a team of Project Engineers/Managers delivering various capital projects related to production equipment & facility improvements. You will also be responsible for CAPEX financial management & reporting as well as the performance and development of a team of 8, you will foster continuous improvement, while promoting collaboration with other functions at the site and globally.

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Utilize extensive technical knowledge and expertise to guide the team towards successful project execution and problem-solving.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, senior management, and other stakeholders to ensure clear understanding of project objectives, timelines, and progress.
  • Manage and negotiate with diverse stakeholders, including vendors, contractors, and other organizational departments to ensure project success.
  • Develop, control, and manage project budgets, implementing financial planning and cost management for all projects under purview.
  • Lead team to identify potential project risks and implement strategies to mitigate these risks, ensuring smooth project execution.
