• Creating, maintaining, and executing detailed project plans, including milestones, deliverables, and review checkpoints for software and firmware releases.
• Collaborating with cross-functional engineering, manufacturing, and product management teams to ensure alignment and timely delivery across all stages of the NPI process.
• Developing and managing risk registers, analyzing potential project risks, and implementing effective mitigation strategies with engineering partners.
• Establishing and tracking project budgets, including Non-Recurring Engineering (NRE) costs and resource allocations, to ensure financial discipline and transparency.
• Providing regular project status updates, progress reports, and risk assessments to stakeholders, ensuring visibility and proactive issue resolution.
• Coordinating with other project/program managers in Operations, Software, and Product Management to align schedules, share best practices, and drive overall program success.
• Documenting and reporting key milestones, such as SW/FW releases, Product Lifecycle (PLC) gates, Bill of Materials (BoM) releases, prototype availability, and technical reviews.
• Facilitating effective use of project management tools (JIRA, Confluence, MS Office) to support documentation, tracking, and team collaboration.
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the Hardware Manufacturing Group and broader engineering organization.
