PROJECT ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENTIST

Broadbent & Associates, Inc. of Reno, Nevada is looking to hire an organized full-time, Project Environmental Scientist to oversee a wide variety of complex, environmental projects in Nevada and California. This project-level position earns a competitive salary, depending on experience. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in geology, hydrogeology, earth or environmental science related field
  • Certified Environmental Manager (CEM) or Professional Geologist (PG) certification or willingness and ability to obtain in 6 - 12 months (will pay for study and testing materials)
  • Three or More years of experience in geological assessments, water supply, water treatment, environmental assessments, contaminant investigation, contaminant remediation, storm water management, wastewater treatment, permitting projects, or compliance projects in the public and private sectors
  • Consulting experience
  • Strong working knowledge of federal and state environmental regulations and experience interacting with governmental regulatory agencies
  • Demonstrated ability to properly manage multiple projects concurrently while ensuring compliance with deliverable timelines
  • Professional Registration/Certification or ability to attain within two years of hire
  • Ability to travel within the western regional US
