Quality Design & Remodel, the Capital Region’s premier design and remodeling firm, is seeking an experienced Project Estimator to join our award-winning team. We’ve built our reputation on exceptional communication, proven processes, and superior craftsmanship — and we need a detail-oriented professional to help us continue exceeding client expectations.Compensation:

$60,000 - $75,000 yearlyResponsibilities:

• Estimate time, labor, construction materials, and product costs to determine overall cost for construction projects
• Visit construction sites to obtain necessary client requirement information
• Supply accurate and clear quantity takeoff information to provide a detailed list of materials and assess the total construction costs
• Analyze blueprints, proposals, specifications, and construction documents to understand the project as a whole
• Place orders and create purchase orders for project materials
• Collaborate with project managers and trades throughout the construction process
• Participate in client consultations and proposal presentations

Qualifications:

• Stellar communication, project management, and time-management skills are crucial
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the construction industry - project estimating or construction management is needed
• Analytical skills, critical thinking, and very strong math skills are essential
• Proficiency with estimating software (Buildertrend and Chief Architect experience a plus)
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong communication skills for client and team interactions
• Positive attitude
