The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) is a statutory body established in 1966 to promote, assist and develop Hong Kong's trade. With 51 offices globally, including 13 in the Chinese Mainland, the HKTDC promotes Hong Kong as a two-way global investment and business hub. The HKTDC organises international exhibitions, conferences and business missions to create business opportunities for companies, particularly small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), in the mainland and international markets. The HKTDC also provides up-to-date market insights and product information via research reports and digital news channels. As we celebrate our 60th anniversary in 2026 and begin a new three-year business cycle, our mission remains as strong as ever to help Hong Kong thrive in trade and businesses succeed in the ever-changing landscape.   Responsibilities:  * Assist project managers in the overall planning and execution of local and overseas trade promotional events related to financial services sectors * Recruit participants for trade promotional projects, including the Asian Financial Forum * Assist in liaison with vendors, onsite logistics preparation such as coordination and venue setup etc.  * Assist in preparing marketing collaterals and publicity materials including coordination with clients and branch offices etc.   * Handle enquiries from partners and event participants, undertake on-site duties * Liaise and maintain good relations with working partners and industry associations * Any other ad hoc tasks/ duties assigned by the Team's Section Head   Requirements:   * University graduate with at least 1-year related experience, preferably in sales and marketing, project management and event organising, etc.  * Customer-oriented with good communication and interpersonal skills in dealing with people from all levels  * Proactive, self-initiated, mature, creative, with team work spirits  * Meticulous and detail-minded and very attentive to details  * Willingness to work long hours to meet tight deadlines  * Proficiency in MS applications and Chinese word-processing  * Strong command of spoken and written English and Chinese. Fluent in Putonghua  * Solid prior experience in event management will be an advantage   Remuneration and Benefits: Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
