About the Role Ready to lead a high-impact, business-wide transformation in one of Australia's fastest-evolving energy markets? As the Project Finance Lead for the Core Retail Platform (CRP) transformation, you will own and maintain strong financial control of all project related costs. Your responsibilities will extend to accurately measuring the benefits realised post-implementation. Your expert analysis will deliver the story behind the numbers, providing valuable insights to senior project stakeholders. This role provides the opportunity to directly contribute to the successful and on-budget delivery of this transformational project. Key Responsibilities Provide detailed financial control and accurate cost management for the Core Retail Platform (CRP) program of work Ensure financial investment is accurately tracked and clearly reported to executive leadership for optimal decision-making. Ensure the project remains fiscally viable by managing detailed project budgets, conducting spend variance analysis, re-forecasting, and preparing budget adjustment requests in collaboration with the Programme Manager. Develop tools and strategies to monitor and reconcile all project-related spend against the approved budget and baselines, including understanding costs to complete. Measure the realisation of planned project benefits through robust financial modelling and analysis based on clear and consistent assumptions. Work closely with Project Managers across work streams and the Programme Manager to ensure financial objectives are consistently met. Prepare high-quality, articulate project financial reporting and visually engaging presentations for Management and Board requirements. What You’ll Bring to the Role Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA/CA or equivalent professional qualification is essential. Minimum of 8 years of experience in finance or accounting, with significant time spent within a large-scale project environment. Experience managing technology or retail platform implementation budgets. Experience with Google Workspace. Demonstrated experience in financial analysis and modelling.
