YOUR PROFILE

  • Degree in engineering, occupational safety, environmental science, or related field.
  • Certified SiFa (Fachkraft für Arbeitssicherheit) – mandatory.
  • Experience in HSE project roles with client interaction.
  • Strong knowledge of German and EU HSE regulations.
  • Experience with hazardous materials and asbestos coordination (TRGS 519).
  • Familiarity with ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and ISO 9001.
  • Fluent in German and English (spoken and written).
  • Willingness to travel internationally (up to 35%).

Responsibilities
  • Act as the designated Occupational Safety Specialist (SiFa) under German law (ASiG, DGUV V2).
  • Lead and support HSE initiatives across all project phases – from design to execution.
  • Serve as the main contact for client HSE representatives and internal stakeholders.
  • Conduct risk assessments, audits, and training sessions on-site (travel up to 35%).
  • Ensure compliance with German, EU, and international regulations (e.g. WHG, TRGS 519, REACH, COSHH).
  • Maintain accurate documentation (SDS, hazardous substance registers, risk assessments).
  • Promote a strong safety culture through inductions, toolbox talks, and awareness campaigns.
  • Support incident investigations and follow-up on corrective actions.
