We are looking for a Project Joint Use Production Coordinator to join our dynamic team, reporting to one of our offices or remotely. The Project Joint Use Coordinator will play a crucial role in planning, designing, and managing the external infrastructure for utility and telecommunication networks, among different entities. This role requires a blend of technical knowledge, communication skills, and attention to detail to ensure compliance with agreements, regulations, and safety standards. Responsibilities include coordinating applications, make-ready work, and data management related to joint use of poles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • System Administration: Maintain accurate records, manage data, and ensure compliance with agreements and regulations.
  • Data Interpretation: Ability to read, comprehend, and translate necessary information from field designs and data.
  • Pole Auditing: Conduct pre- and post-construction inspections to verify compliance via identifying structural and clearance issues through accurate annotations and pole analysis to coordinate make-ready work (e.g. pole replacements, additional pole supports, height of attachment adjustments).
  • Up to Date Knowledge: In depth understanding of utility/telecommunication infrastructure, outside plant (OSP) construction, and the associated industry standards and regulations (e.g. NESC, GO-95).
  • Collaborating: Working with installation teams, project managers, and clients to address quality issues and ensure customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • Technical Expertise: Proficiency in engineering and analytical databases (IKE Office, Katapult) and modeling software (Spida Calc, Pole Foreman, O-Calc).
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze field collected data efficiently.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to diagnose and resolve problems effectively.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to communicate technical information clearly to stakeholders.
  • Project Management Skills: Successful management of projects related to Joint Use system design, post inspection, and make-ready engineering.
