Job Description Your Mission as a Project Lead Engineer 🚀 Are you ready to take on a challenging role in the Client Engineering team, supporting key technical assurance activities? We are looking for a Project Lead Engineer to oversee the design and implementation of Civil Client work packages. What You’ll Do: 🔧 Lead a multi-discipline engineering team: Drive collaborative efforts to deliver top-notch solutions. 📊 Support Client Project Manager: Oversee consultants and contractors to ensure project success. 🛠️ Develop and manage work scopes: Shape project requirements and perform assurance activities. 📐 Collaborate with BIM/CAD teams: Ensure designs meet project and stakeholder needs. 📝 Review and accept project documentation: Maintain high standards in project drawings and documentation. ⚙️ Supervise construction activities: Ensure compliance with design intent during project execution. 💼 Chair meetings and design reviews: Lead discussions to drive project milestones. 🔍 Provide technical supervision: Oversee commissioning and decommissioning, ensuring all safety and quality standards are met. 📢 Deliver engineering presentations: Communicate effectively to stakeholders and team members. 🛡️ Ensure safety and compliance: Uphold Environment, Health, Safety, Security, and Quality standards throughout the project. Qualifications Key Attributes: Qualification, Special Skills or Experience: Qualification to degree level in a relevant engineering or scientific discipline. Chartered Engineer status or able to attain chartered status (demonstration of continued professional development). Civil background. Experience in the following: Project engineering of work packages, including site implementation/ integration, within a highly regulated environment. Working fully autonomously and as part of a team Compliance with legislation and standards in a highly regulated industry. Producing technical documentation e.g. technical reports, specifications, technical queries etc. Liaison with range of stakeholders. Basic health and safety training for site visits.
