Job Description

As part of the development projects for passenger cars / commercial vehicles with diesel engine units, the colaborator will independently work on project management for design-related tasks in accordance with the scopes of work and component scopes described below, from concept development (including later milestones if applicable) to product, as well as further development of the parts in series production :

• Project Management
• Analysis of Project Details
• Keeping track of the project milestones and planning
• Proposal of Design/Technical Solutions
• Development of Design Concepts
• Development according to the milestones

Qualifications

To qualify for this role, you shoud have the follwoing set of skills :

• VW design work environment
• Engine and Powertrain general knowledge
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role
• Responsibility for all component technical items
• Creation of Forward Sourcing/RFQ/SOR document
• Coordination of technical content with the development departments, quality assurance, production and customer service and supplier
• Presentation of design results
• Consultation/Alignment with Customer regarding Design/Technical Solution
• Preparing the data transfer for engine builds
• Coordination of component validation at customer
• Finding solutions by NOK validation results
