FAIRTIQ is a mobile app that simplifies public transport ticketing using an innovative geo-positioning based technology. We use state-of-the-art technology and methods for software development in order to support our rapidly growing user community and create leading solutions for public transport.
FAIRTIQ Ltd was founded in 2016 as a start-up with the mission of providing the easiest way to sustainable mobility for everyone, everywhere. Today, the company counts over 130 employees in seven countries with its solution working all over Switzerland, Liechtenstein, and Denmark, as well as several parts of Germany, Austria, France, Netherland and Czech Republic. FAIRTIQ is expanding more and more in European markets.
Who we are looking for
Project Lead (all genders) 80-100%
To expand our business capacity, we are looking for a native or proficient English-speaking Project Lead to join our team. As a Project Lead, your mission will be to oversee the implementation of FAIRTIQ technology in new regions and guide projects from scope definition and contract signing to launch. Your main contacts will be our partners in the public transport industry, and you will serve as the crucial link between them and our technical teams. For example, you might lead the implementation of our FAIRTIQ app in a tariff community in the Czech Republic.

Responsibilities

  • Align project objectives with product strategy and company goals to simplify everyday mobility and launch the technology in new regions.
  • Analyse project needs, goals and scope with partners.
  • Specify project requirements with the technical teams, lead the project realisation phase and define project timeline.
  • Support operations and development team, manage issues.
  • Foster partnership with partners & stakeholders.

Requirements

  • BSc in business information technology or a related field (business and technical background).
  • At least 2 years of experience as a project manager in IT (Project management qualification like IPMA C is a plus), experience with agile methodologies.
  • Native or business fluent in English (C1) and at least one of the following languages on the same proficiency level: German, French or Italien. Additional languages, such as Czech or Polish, are a plus.
  • Customer- & client focused mindset.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Good team player in an agile team.
  • Creative, self-confident, independent, attitude to get things done.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt.
