DESCRIPTION:

In preparation for a large-scale data center migration involving multiple servers and firewalls, an experienced Project Lead is required. This individual will be responsible for end-to-end coordination, planning, and execution oversight of all migration-related activities, ensuring alignment with enterprise-level standards and timelines.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Leadership & Project Management:

• Proven track record as project lead or technical program manager in enterprise IT infrastructure or data center projects
• Strong background in migration of servers and security infrastructure (firewalls, VPN, routing) in enterprise environment from OnPrem to OnPrem and OnPrem to Cloud.
• Expertise in project methodologies: PMI, PRINCE2 or Agile (Scrum/Kanban)
• Familiarity with change, risk, and communication management frameworks

Technical Knowledge:

• Solid understanding of data center architecture, networking (Layer 2/3), firewalls, and virtualization
• Experience with firewall platforms (e.g. Cisco ASA/Firepower, Fortinet)
• Experience in DC Enterprise environment
• Familiarity with Windows Server, Linux, VMware vSphere, and enterprise networking

Soft Skills & Languages:

• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Ability to manage cross-functional teams and interface with senior stakeholders
• Fluent in English (German is a plus)
