At Guild Care, a leading not-for-profit charity, we are launching a brand-new Dementia Day Service at Holland House. We are looking for an experienced and motivated Project Lead (Team Lead) to launch, build, develop and manage the service, lead staff, and ensure our day service offers exceptional, person-centred care.

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

Service Leadership & Management

  • Lead the launch and daily running of Holland House Dementia Day Service.
  • Market the service and carry out pre needs assessments to ensure suitability.
  • Ascertain desired outcomes and measure progress against outcomes on a regular basis.
  • Ensure the service provides a safe, stimulating, and welcoming environment.
  • Develop and oversee engaging activities, outings, and programmes that promote wellbeing and reduce isolation.
  • Implement an approach that includes technology in order to improve outcomes for people.

Staff Supervision & Support

  • Establish a new team.
  • Manage, supervise, and support a team of Dementia Support Workers.
  • Provide training, guidance, and role modelling to maintain high standards of care.
  • Foster a positive and supportive team culture.

Care & Wellbeing Oversight

  • Ensure personalised care plans are created, implemented, and regularly updated.
  • Promote independence, dignity, and choice at all times.
  • Build strong relationships with service users, families, carers, and professionals.

Quality, Compliance & Safety

  • Ensure the service meets contractual and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee safeguarding, medication procedures, and health & safety responsibilities.
  • Monitor and evaluate the service, responding to feedback constructively.

Community & Engagement

  • Promote Holland House Dementia Day service within the community and build partnerships with local organisations.
  • Support events, and community activities that enhance daily life.
  • Represent Guild Care’s values and act as an ambassador for the charity.
