Role Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to deliver a Networking project within the Client Operator sector. This role involves managing a complex project that support the transformation of current network services to new in support services.
You will work within a Critical National Infrastructure (CNI) environment and must be eligible for SC Clearance. This is a high-profile position supporting the UK’s transition to a supportable Network position
Clearance Required: Security Check (SC) Clearance – active or eligible
Key Responsibilities:
Lead end-to-end project delivery across planning, execution, and closure phases
Deliver projects aligned with Client’s operational and resilience strategies
Engage and coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, cyber security, and 3rd party suppliers
Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, with a strong focus on regulatory and security considerations
Maintain clear and consistent communication with internal stakeholders and suppliers
Ensure all activities are compliant with CNI security standards and Client’s governance
Deliver project documentation including RAID logs, project plans, and budget forecasts
Manage change control processes and ensure traceable audit and approval mechanisms
Essential Requirements:
Current SC Clearance (or eligibility to obtain it)
Demonstrated experience working within Critical National Infrastructure (CNI) environments
Excellent stakeholder management skills, particularly in regulated and multi-agency environments
Proficient in project management methodologies (PRINCE2, Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches)
Strong financial and resource management capabilities
Some travel to operational sites or stakeholder meetings required
Hybrid or remote working may be available depending on project phase
Role may require occasional out-of-hours availability during critical delivery stages
