Description *Due to being an In-Plant position, the below referenced job duties have been provided by the client: • The Project Lead is responsible for the overall planning, execution, and successful delivery of large-scale industrial painting and abrasive blasting projects. This includes managing budgets, schedules, safety compliance, resources, subcontractors, and quality control while ensuring client satisfaction and adherence to industry standards (e.g., SSPC, NACE, OSHA). • Develop detailed project plans, including scope, schedule, manpower, equipment, and material requirements. • Coordinate mobilization and demobilization of crews, equipment, and materials. • Ensure proper sequencing of blasting, coating application, curing, and inspection activities. • Monitor progress against schedule and adjust plans as needed to meet deadlines. • Prepare and manage project budgets, forecasts, and cost reports. • Track labor hours, equipment usage, and material consumption. • Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or safety. • Manage change orders and ensure proper documentation and client approval. • Enforce strict compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies. • Ensure proper use of PPE (respiratory protection, blast suits, fall protection, etc.). • Conduct job hazard analyses (JHA) and safety meetings (toolbox talks). • Oversee confined space entry, hot work permits, and hazardous containment (lead/asbestos if applicable). • Provide regular project updates, progress reports, and schedule forecasts. • Resolve client concerns and ensure contractual obligations are met or exceeded. • Supervise direct report(s). • Coordinate subcontractors and specialty services (scaffolding, containment, etc.). • Ensure workforce productivity, accountability, and proper training. • Foster a culture of safety, quality, and teamwork. Requirements Summary of Description: The Technician will work under the supervision of an assigned specific discipline and based on experience the individual evaluates, selects, and applies standard applicable techniques. Could include discipline work of purchasing, expediting, NDT Inspection, project controls, surveying, laser scanning, schedulers, planner, construction inspectors, project coordinators, automation, controls, etc. Duties: Assists assigned supervisor in various aspects of projects assigned. Applying standard discipline techniques to make minor adaptations and modifications. Perform other job-related duties as assigned. Education and Experience:High School Diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.) with additional specialized training, or college course work, and at least eleven (11) years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above. License Requirements: Valid Driver’s License as per State law or requirement Specific Skills: Detailed working knowledge of Policies and Procedures related to project work. Physical Requirements: Ability to walk up to one mile on industrial plant and construction sites outdoors at any time of the year. Ability to work in protective clothing which may elevate body temperatures by several degrees Fahrenheit for periods of up to 15 minutes without a break. Ability to use multi-level stair towers and rung ladders unassisted. Ability to hear safety alarms and signals while wearing hearing protection. Ability to sit at desk and operate computer for extended periods of time. Ability to stand, use hands and fingers, grip, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; and talk and hear. Ability to see with visual acuity and distinguish between colors. Ability to operate a motor vehicle and have a valid driver’s license. Ability to lift and carry 15 lbs. on a regular basis is required and at times lifting up to 25 lbs. may be required.
