The Department of Justice and Community Safety is seeking a Project Lead to provide a critical role within Corrections Victoria, Counter Terrorism Coordination Unit.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • A tertiary qualification in criminal justice, allied health, public policy, law or other relevant disciplines is desirable
Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

Engage with executive level stakeholders on a range of complex policy and legislative issues to deliver sustainable solutions aligned with organisational objectives.

Some of your duties will include:

  • Lead parole and community CVE focused project management activities, in line with project and organisational objectives.
  • Negotiate and influence stakeholders at an executive level on a range of complex strategic and legislative service delivery matters and secure cooperation for planned outcomes.
  • Develop complex written materials including briefs and project documentation that provide policy options and recommendations for consideration by senior decision makers.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Sound knowledge of Corrections Victoria policies, procedures and relevant legislation and regulations.
  • Experience in managing projects, programs or policy initiatives.
  • Knowledge and/or experience relating to Countering Violent Extremism would be highly advantageous
