Project Leader Locations: Duluth GA, Reading PA, Beachwood OH or Dearborn MI.  Shift: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm (Onsite 4 days a week)   Position Summary: Manage the implementation of an event such as a customer projects, process improvement initiative, network redesign or systems deployment within Penske logistics.  Responsible for the formalization of a realistic timeline, complete with milestones, targets and identification of responsible parties. Handles many tasks and assignments directly, delegating as needed to other subject matter experts. Will ensure stakeholder and shareholder buy-in and facilitate regular communication to convey progress, inhibitors or roadblocks to the successful completion.   Major Responsibilities: - Ability to mine data from various Penske systems to create metrics, dashboards and other informational tools to measure process accuracy, timeliness against stated goals - Analyze financial or operational information and reports to provide accurate and timely recommendations to management for decision making purposes - Update and monitor key performance indicators and key financial metrics, highlighting trends and analyzing variances, to understand and be able to communicate the financial health of each location - Provide senior management and the operations team with in-depth analysis of Project related data to drive insights on trends and opportunities to optimize costs, driving better decision making - Deliver ad hoc reporting and analysis  - Perform other duties as assigned   About Penske Logistics Penske Logistics engineers state-of-the-art transportation, warehousing and supply chain management solutions that deliver powerful business results for market-leading companies.
