Job Description Job description: We are looking for an experienced Project lead / Project Manager to drive the the design, development and Industrialization of advanced automotive electronic control units such as ECU (Electronic control units), Body Control Modules (BCM), Zone ECUs (ZECU), and Vehicle Control Units (VCU). This role involves end-to-end ownership of Mechanical Engineering development for ECUs from concept to industrialization, working closely with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and OEMs. 1. Project Planning & Execution Own end-to-end ECU Mechanics sub-project execution from requirement definition to series production. Analyze, define, and finalize project requirements, specifications, and technical scope. Prepare, manage, and control project schedules, milestones, approvals, and agreements. Support prototype, pilot, production, and ramp-up phases to ensure stable series launch. 2. Cross-Functional Leadership & Stakeholder Management Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams including Sales, Software, Hardware, Design, Quality, Purchasing, and Production Plants. Act as the primary Mechanical Engineering interface for internal and external stakeholders. Coordinate closely with customers and partners on technical alignment, milestones, deviations, and quality topics. 3. Quality, Risk & Problem Management Track project performance against Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Risk targets and initiate corrective and preventive actions. Drive quantitative risk management and provide data-based inputs for project and steering committee decisions. Identify, assess, and proactively manage technical, timeline, cost, and quality risks. Lead structured problem solving through 8D, DAR, CAR, Root Cause Analysis, and Lessons Learned. Ensure robustness, manufacturability, and quality through DRBFM, quality assessments, and maturity reviews. 4. Product Configuration & Change Management Oversee mechanical BOM generation, setup, release, and engineering change management. Ensure compliance with internal project management, quality, and engineering processes Lead and co ordinate Engineering changes 5. Industrialization & Production Support Coordinate with production plants to resolve industrialization, production, and field issues. Support manufacturing readiness and smooth transition from development to series production Qualifications B.E / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering Additional Information 6-10 years Legal Entity: Bosch Global Software Technologies Private Limited
