Qatar Airways is seeking experienced professionals for the role of Project Management & Governance Specialist based at Combined Delivery Center (CDC) in Ahmedabad, India. The Project Management & Governance Specialist is responsible Support the transition Manager by driving PMO and governance activities for the end-to-end transition program. Ensure robust planning, tollgate reviews, risk tracking, and reporting to enable seamless migration of processes from Doha to CDC India within agreed timelines and compliance standards. Act as an owner for quality, timelines, and budget for assigned transition projects. Identify potential processes in scope for transition, evaluate or conduct time and motion study to assess the FTE requirements for in scope process with support of transition execution specialist. Responsibilities: Program Governance & Tollgates - Maintain transition governance calendar, organize SteerCo/PMO reviews, capture and track minutes of meetings, and track tollgate sign-offs to ensure timely decision-making and compliance with QR governance standards Planning & Reporting - Consolidate project plans, milestones, and interdependencies across service lines; update dashboards and trackers (Power BI/Tableau) → to provide accurate visibility to leadership and stakeholders. Risk & Issue Management - Maintain risk register and escalation log; coordinate mitigation actions with workstream leads → to minimize transition risks and avoid delays. Performance Monitoring - Track KPIs and SLA adherence during KT, OJT, and ramp-up phases; prepare weekly/monthly governance reports → to validate readiness and operational stability. Compliance & Documentation - Ensure all PMO artifacts (plans, minutes, trackers) meet QR standards; manage SharePoint/ Teams sites repository for version control to support audit readiness and knowledge retention. Stakeholder Coordination - Liaise with Transition Manager, service line leads, HR, IT, for resource onboarding, system access, and readiness checks → to enable smooth execution of transition waves. Organize lessons learnt sessions after transition waves are completed, and propose improvements to QR transition methodology Perform other department duties related to his/her position as directed by the Head of the Department Be part of an extraordinary story Your skills. Together, everything is possible Qualifications Required: Bachelors degree with Minimum 5 years of job - related experience Expertise in PMO transition operations: planning, risk management, governance reporting. Advanced MS Excel and visualization tools (Power BI/Tableau). Excellent organization skills and attention to detail Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
