Job Description
The Project Management Office (PMO) provides crucial support to projects and accounts by collaborating with various stakeholders to monitor the financial health of engagements. The Endava PMO is responsible for project budgeting, monitoring all costs and revenues, and ensuring that all data is regularly collected and cleaned as needed. This ensures the accuracy of data, metrics, and KPIs, which are essential for producing robust, data-driven reports that inform decision-making.
The PMO’s support extends to all aspects of financial forecasting, budgeting, end-to-end financial management, control, and stewardship of project assets and resources. Additionally, the PMO provides advice on time, cost, and exception planning.
The PMO has a comprehensive understanding of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, enabling them to access and collect data to produce accurate, meaningful, and timely reports. These reports include key metrics, financial results, and variance analysis, providing valuable insights to support informed management decisions.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Solid understanding of financial management
  • Experience with commercial and financial reporting, P&L, invoices, contracts, project timesheets tracking, project risks monitoring
  • Ability to understand business processes and to accurately interpret reports
  • Microsoft Office (Outlook, strong Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Excellent spoken and written English communication
  • Ability to work collaboratively with the wider business
  • Working well under tight deadlines
  • Very good customer focus
  • Attention to details, well organized, proactive

Responsibilities
  • Engages with the Leadership Team, including Delivery Managers, Mid/Senior PMO-PPMO, Project Managers, People Development and Recruiting, HR, FP&A, Sales Owners, Accounting, and Legal representatives, as required.
  • Prepares financial reports, ranging from simple to moderately complex, in accordance with organizational standards and procedures, ensuring that project and cost centre managers are well-informed about the status of their respective areas.
  • Produces well-researched and structured reports for projects, programs, or portfolios, relying on robust knowledge of such tool as Excel, and where applicable PowerBI.
  • Manages the invoicing cycle, ensuring timely submission of invoices and prompt processing of all necessary payments.
  • Provides administrative support to project boards, project assurance teams, and quality review meetings.
  • Utilizes financial forecasting and modeling tools to gather and analyze data necessary for running forecasting models.
  • Supports SOX controls within the Project Management Office, if this responsibility is assigned.
  • When applicable, offers guidance on project management software, procedures, processes, tools, and techniques.
