Job Description AECOM is actively seeking a highly talented Sr. Program Manager for immediate employment in San Antonio, Texas or Austin, Texas. The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: Lead and manage programs that are medium to large in size and complexity or a defined part of a larger program, in support of the overall Program Manager. Provide the organization with technical leadership and strategic direction for program delivery at a regional level. Advocate for ethical and safe working practices. Contributes to innovation in program management approaches and methodology to achieve marketplace differentiation. Work with Regional leadership and Market Sector Leaders to identify new business opportunities and develop solutions to address them. Identify areas of high risk and pro-actively takes actions to positively impact program outcomes. Assess long-term and disruptive trends in their area of expertise. Proposes skill development approaches and workforce planning to deliver capabilities for the future. Actively supports the attraction and retention of talent across area of expertise. Accountable for overall financial success and delivery of AECOM Program Management agreement. Qualifications Minimum Requirements BA/BS + 10 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education, including 2 years of leadership. Preferred Qualifications 15+ years of experience directly managing GEC/PMC project with TxDOT and other agencies including design-bid-build (DBB) and design-build (DB) projects. The experience should demonstrate the ability to lead and administer GEC/PMC contracts effectively for agencies like TxDOT. Experience serving as primary contact with TxDOT representatives and other clients, engaging in project scoping, addressing regulatory requirements, and fostering strong, long-term relationships. Develop, monitor, and manage project scope, budget, and schedule from the proposal stage through final deliverables. Coordination with local governments, contractors, sub-consultants, utilities, and other agencies to ensure seamless project execution and compliance. Must have current TxDOT precertification in relevant work categories through the firm's administrative qualification with TxDOT's PEPS division.
