Job Title: Project Management Team Lead
Reports to: Director of Operations
Supervisory Responsibilities: Project management staff
FLSA Exempt Status: Exempt
Type of Position: Full-time; physical presence in the office and on project sites. Some opportunity for remote work.
Salary Range: $130 – 150K, DOQ
Travel Requirements: Frequent driving in the Twin Cities metro area and some outstate.
JOB SUMMARY:
The Project Management Team Lead serves in a dual capacity, combining project management expertise and team leadership responsibilities. This role is accountable for overseeing the successful execution of projects – ensuring they are delivered on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards - while also fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment. In addition to fulfilling the responsibilities of a Senior Project Manager, the Team Lead is responsible for the development, performance, and evaluation of the Project Management team. This includes mentoring staff, aligning resources, and promoting a culture that reflects the core values of Watson-Forsberg. The ideal candidate can operate independently when needed, while also leading and inspiring a team to achieve shared goals across all projects.
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
· Employee Management – Hire, train and develop Senior Project Managers, Project Managers, Associate Project Managers and Project Engineers
· PM Team Operations – Oversee execution of all projects from kick-off to close-out while promoting best practices
· Resource Planning – Lead the allocation of PM Team staff on projects & forecast future needs
· Career Development – Regular meetings with each PM Team member to ensure they’re meeting project expectations and on track with their professional and career goals
