Description
  • Leading the delivery of the Payroll Remediation Program, ensuring outcomes are achieved on time and within scope.
  • Managing project plans, schedules, budgets, risks, issues, and dependencies.
  • Coordinating cross-functional teams, including HR, Finance, ICT, vendors, and business and external stakeholders.
  • Overseeing payroll remediation activities, system improvements, and process enhancements.
  • Establishing and maintaining effective governance, reporting, and assurance arrangements.
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, policies, industrial instruments, and audit requirements.
  • Monitoring project performance and providing regular updates to senior executives and governance forums.
  • Managing stakeholder engagement, communications, and change management activities.
  • Driving risk identification, mitigation strategies, and issue resolution.
  • Coordinating testing, validation, and quality assurance activities to ensure accurate and sustainable outcomes.
  • Managing vendor and contractor performance and delivery obligations.
  • Embedding continuous improvement and supporting the transition to sustainable payroll operations.


Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement

  • Build and maintain productive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support business areas with scoping, planning, and prioritisation of digital and ICT initiatives aligned to organisational strategies.
  • Provide clear, timely, and accurate advice on progress, risks, issues, dependencies, and technical considerations to stakeholders and governance forums.


Documentation and Reporting

  • Maintain comprehensive and accurate project and technical documentation, including plans, designs, risk registers, change records, and implementation artefacts.
  • Prepare and deliver regular status reports, briefings, and updates to the Contract Manager and relevant governance bodies at agreed intervals (e.g. weekly).
  • Contribute to assurance, audit, and reporting activities as required.
