Our Project Manager position is an important role, working as a key member of the established Project Manager Team you will be responsible for the delivery of often large and complex projects. We are seeing once in a lifetime investment into Torbay and you will be at the heart of helping us deliver our vision.
We need you to effectively manage and coordinate multiple projects, understand technical, financial and feasibility studies for potential schemes. You will be an active part in all aspects of our regeneration and consultancy work.
Experience within the construction industry is required, working either with clients or contractors on Projects.

SKILLS

Essential:

• Ability to work to tight deadlines ensuring projects are delivered to specification on time and within budget.
• Ability to effectively manage, motivate and lead multi disciplined and often large and complex projects.
• Ability to work flexibly and communicate effectively with Clients and Contractors.

KNOWLEDGE

Essential:

• Well developed knowledge and understanding of Project Management.
• Working knowledge of Project Management Processes & Programming software.
• Demonstrable working knowledge of Construction Contracts and Law.

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

Essential:

• Demonstrable track record of successful project delivery across a broad spectrum of works
• Experience in Managing multiple project with differing priorities
• Degree level (or equivalent) in a related discipline for example Civil Engineering or a Construction related professional qualification, knowledge of Prince2 philosophies and Membership of relevant professional associations for example Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and Member of the Association for Project Management (MAPM).
