Description Job Title: Project Manager – Transportation and Organizational Planning Job Type: Full-Time Position Summary: We are seeking a seasoned Management Professional with 5 to 10 years of progressive experience in transportation or transit planning, or business and organizational management. This role requires a strong track record of technical leadership, team supervision, and cross-functional project delivery. The ideal candidate brings both strategic insight and hands-on experience managing complex programs and guiding staff to achieve operational and planning objectives. Key Responsibilities: Plan, manage, and deliver transportation or organizational development projects Supervise and mentor professional and technical staff across multiple workstreams Coordinate with stakeholders, including internal departments, government agencies, and community partners Interpret and apply data, policies, and regulations to inform recommendations and ensure compliance Prepare detailed reports, briefings, and presentations for senior leadership and public engagement Support development of program budgets, performance goals, and project timelines Contribute to strategic initiatives that enhance operational efficiency or service delivery Manage consultant contracts and ensure timely delivery of project milestones Requirements Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Transportation Planning, Business Administration, Urban Planning, Public Administration, or a related field 5 to 10 years of experience in transportation/transit planning or business/organizational management Experience supervising staff and managing multidisciplinary teams Strong skills in communication, organization, and problem-solving Familiarity with transportation planning tools, project management systems, or data analysis platforms Preferred Qualifications: Master’s Degree in a related field Experience in the public sector or working with transit agencies Knowledge of federal, state, or regional transportation funding and regulatory frameworks Background in process improvement or change management Salary Range: $55-110/hour (1099)
