Position Summary:
Job Title: Project Manager
Duration: 02 Years Contract
Location: Regina, SK
Job Description:
We are looking for one or more experienced Project Managers to lead the Project.
This is a strategic initiative focused on replacing high-risk applications and databases, modernizing IT infrastructure, enhancing data management, and enabling cross-ministerial data sharing.
The Project Manager will collaborate with internal stakeholders, executives, and external vendors to ensure successful project delivery, risk mitigation, and modernization outcomes.

QUALIFICATIONS (MANDATORY)

  • Available to work 100% onsite in Regina upon contract start date.

DESIRABLE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Extensive project management experience with large-scale IT/business transformation initiatives.
  • Proven ability to manage multi-stakeholder projects with complex dependencies.
  • Strong communication, facilitation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience working with or within government organizations (Saskatchewan or comparable).
  • Familiarity with public sector technical and business landscapes.
    Job Type: Fixed term contract
    Contract length: 24 months
    Pay: $60.00-$65.00 per hour
    Expected hours: 40 per week

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)

Experience:

  • IT project management: 5 years (required)
  • IT infrastructure: 3 years (required)
  • Data management: 2 years (required)

Responsibilities
  • Develop and finalize the Detailed Project Plan in consultation with the Project Leadership Team.
  • Obtain Project Sponsor approval for project planning.
  • Deliver projects in accordance with PMI standards and Government processes.
  • Ensure deliverables are completed on time, within budget, and to required specifications.
  • Oversee compliance with technical standards.
  • Facilitate integration across related projects where necessary.
  • Monitor and report on scope, schedule, cost, and quality performance.
  • Identify, monitor, and manage project risks and issues.
  • Provide clear and timely communications and reports to sponsors and stakeholders.
  • Organize and facilitate multi-stakeholder workshops, meetings, and presentations.
  • Collaborate with third-party vendors and partners to integrate their delivery into the overall implementation plan.
  • Prepare and manage change requests (scope, time, cost) including financial implications.
  • Identify and escalate resource requirement changes.
  • Participate in consultant performance evaluations as required
