ABOUT US:

Abax Health is dedicated to dramatically improving untapped revenue and patient access. Our vision is to ensure every loved one gets the care they need, when they need it, and our mission is to identify, quantify, and act on healthcare’s untapped revenue.
We achieve this through industry-leading Artificial Intelligence software solutions that identify untapped revenue, quantify its financial impact, and act on it using an automation-powered human concierge team to schedule patient care efficiently. Our team, with over 200 years of combined healthcare experience, is committed to solving these challenges and making healthcare better together.

The ideal candidate will have experience in healthcare, technology, or tech-enabled services and a strong ability to manage timelines, communicate effectively, and drive team accountability. This role involves managing multiple concurrent projects from initiation to delivery, aligning stakeholders, and ensuring projects stay on schedule, within scope, and within budget.
As stretch goals, this individual may also assist in the development of product documentation, client-facing training materials, and internal onboarding guides to support knowledge transfer and scale implementation best practices.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in project management, preferably in healthcare or health tech.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
  • PMP, CSM, or other project management certifications.
  • Microsoft Certifications, such as Microsoft Excel Expert, Microsoft PowerPoint Associate, or Microsoft Project Certification.
  • Proven experience with project management tools (e.g., Microsoft DevOps, Jira, Asana, Smartsheet).
  • Familiarity with healthcare systems, EHRs, revenue cycle management, or patient access workflows.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Excellent organizational, leadership, and time-management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively lead teams and liaise with stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency in creating project documentation, Gantt charts, and status reports.
  • Experience with Agile and/or Scrum project frameworks.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • Experience working in a fast-paced, startup, or high-growth healthcare environment.
  • Understanding of healthcare compliance standards such as CMS, ONC, or HL7.
  • Knowledge of AI or automation tools used in healthcare workflows.
  • Familiarity with Power BI or similar tools for reporting and data analysis.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Suite, including Office, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Experience with collaboration and productivity platforms (e.g., SharePoint, OneDrive, Confluence).
  • Experience with technical writing or documentation creation.
  • Familiarity with tools like Confluence, Notion, or Microsoft Word for structured documentation.
  • Ability to translate technical concepts into user-friendly language for training or onboarding materials.
Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage end-to-end project lifecycle, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
  • Define project scopes, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders and leadership.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and communication schedules.
  • Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and milestone reviews.
  • Track and report project status, risks, issues, and dependencies to all relevant stakeholders.
  • Coordinate internal resources and third-party vendors for flawless execution of projects.
  • Serve as the liaison between technical teams, operations, and external partners to ensure alignment.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant data protection and healthcare regulations.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to improve project processes and workflows.
  • Contribute to the creation and maintenance of product implementation guides, standard operating procedures, and FAQs.
