QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree (Engineering or Business Field preferred) and a minimum 5 years of relevant experience; or alternatively, a special combination of education and experience and/or demonstrated accomplishments.
  • Project management experience required (PMP certification preferred).
  • Strong communicator and team-oriented mind set.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong reputation for customer focus.
  • Must be familiar with and have practical experience with ERP (SAP preferred), MS Word, MS Project, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and other office software.
  • Must be able to read Engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Experience dealing with the cultural diversity of a global business environment.
  • Maintain high standards for safety and housekeeping and assure compliance with all environmental regulations.
  • Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
Responsibilities
  • Establishing the project execution approach, and overseeing planning, monitoring and control activities for internal and external resources to accomplish all project goals.
  • Monitoring and controlling project progress, efficient resource utilization, and project financials.
  • Identifying, qualifying, quantifying, managing project risk, and ensuring all opportunities are identified and pursued.
  • Driving the formal acceptance of the project, contract close-out, and acknowledgment by the customer, all in accordance with the contract.
