Run what runs the world This Position reports to: Project Operations Manager In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead the execution of medium-size projects. Each day, you will ensure that all related activities are executed in accordance with procedures, regulations, standards, specifications and targets. You will also showcase your expertise by leading the project team members to achieve project requirements, deliver contracted deliverables, and meet the committed project result. The work model for the role is: hybrid This role is contributing to the Power Reliability (Excitation Systems) team within PAEN (Process Automation Energy Industries) division based out of the ABB's office and manufacturing facility located in Ville Saint Laurent Technoparc (Montreal). Reporting to the manager of the project management team you will maintain and enhance customer satisfaction by providing excellent service at all stages of the project. Your Role: Own the Challenge Leading the project team, establishing the project execution approach, and overseeing planning, monitoring and control activities for internal and external resources to accomplish all project goals. Monitoring and controlling project progress, efficient resource utilization, and project financials. Identifying, qualifying, quantifying, managing project risk, and ensuring all opportunities are identified and pursued. Driving the formal acceptance of the project, contract close-out, and acknowledgment by the customer, all in accordance with the contract. You will join a high performing team, where you will be able to thrive. What it takes to run what runs the world Bachelor degree (degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering an asset, PMP certification an asset). 3-5 years of experience in project management, working in an engineering/ manufacturing environment. Experience in power generation and/ or working with Canadian and US electric utility companies an asset. Possess an enhanced knowledge of MS Project, Excel, MS Word, Powerpoint and Outlook. Experience in management of project scope, cost, schedules, site work and vendors/subcontractors. A collaborative, solutions-oriented approach with strong written and oral communication skills. Ability to make effective presentations to clients and technical groups. You are at ease communicating in French and English is essential. French is required.
