We’re looking for a Project Manager who embodies these values, is experienced, and ready to lead HVAC projects from conception through completion. Position Summary The Project Manager will oversee HVAC projects from the bidding phase through execution and final delivery. This role involves coordinating internal teams, negotiating with subcontractors/vendors, meeting with clients, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities • Lead the bidding process: review plans, prepare cost estimates, manage bid documents, and submit proposals. • Use Bluebeam (or similar tools) for plan/markup review, takeoffs, revisions, tracking changes, and collaboration. • Coordinate and lead job meetings: internal kickoff meetings, client meetings, site visits. • Negotiate with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors to secure favorable terms, pricing, and schedules. • Develop project schedules, track progress, monitor budgets, change orders, and ensure margin protection. • Serve as primary point of contact for clients during project lifecycle; communicate updates, manage expectations, and resolve issues. • Collaborate with design, installation, service, and operations teams to ensure alignment and quality. • Maintain accurate project documentation (drawings, contracts, RFIs, submittals, change orders). • Ensure all work complies with industry codes, safety standards, and company quality policies. • Use computer systems (project management software, scheduling, spreadsheets, etc.) daily. What We Offer • Competitive salary ($80,000–$90,000) plus bonus opportunities. • Fully paid medical and dental insurance. • Paid Time Off & Holidays. • 401(k) plan. • Company vehicle with fuel card for job-site travel, meetings, client visits Requirements Experience: • 6–10 years of experience in HVAC project management or closely related role. • Technical knowledge: Must be well-versed in HVAC systems, installation, maintenance, and design fundamentals. • Software skills: Strong proficiency in Bluebeam; comfortable using computers and common software (MS Office, project scheduling, possibly HVAC design tools). • Sales / Estimating: Experience with bidding, estimating, and/or sales of HVAC is a plus. • Negotiation & Communication: Excellent negotiation skills; strong verbal and written communication. • Management Skills: Ability to lead teams, manage multiple simultaneous projects, prioritize, and problem-solve. • Personal qualities: Detail-oriented, self-motivated, strong organizational skills, customer-focused.
