PROJECT MANAGER (ACED EARLY DETECTION)

£37,000 - £41,000 plus benefits
Reports to: Research Programme Manager
Directorate: Research & Innovation
Contract: Permanent
Hours: Full time 35 hours per week
Location: Stratford, London Office-based with high flexibility (1-2 days per week in the office)

WHAT ARE YOU LOOKING FOR?

  • Relevant experience of working in a research-related setting (either academic or industry)
  • Sound understanding of the biomedical research and funding landscape (via academic achievements or through work experience)
  • Proven track record of leading, collaborating on and delivering complex, multi-stakeholder projects successfully
  • Relevant experience of working with, coordinating and influencing senior researchers
  • Proven ability to form strong, positive collaborative relationships at all levels of seniority
  • Knowledge of cancer research generally, or early detection specifically would be beneficial but isn’t essential
  • Experience of managing collaborative multi-institutional and/or multinational projects would be beneficial but isn’t essential
