The Opportunity: AgMonitor is looking for a driven Project Manager to lead customer success and advanced projects in San Joaquin Valley. You’ll work closely with growers and foods processors within the S&M team to manage a portfolio of SaaS clients and Professional Service projects, own deliverables, and improve processes. This new position will have an opportunity to impact on the lives of our clients by advocating for their needs, and our product roadmap by working on advanced projects (NEM3, OpenET, Regenerative Ag, etc.). The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of the energy sector and a passion for agriculture. Unlike other vendors that require upfront hardware, our patented algorithms leverage existing data to set a benchmark and integrate additional onsite sensors to increase operational efficiency (savings) and resource efficiency (sustainability). On average, our customers reduce the cost of energy by 30% and increase water use efficiency by 15%. Our Products: AgMonitor offers a suite of cost-effective, hardware-free SaaS tools: CropMonitor™, PumpMonitor™, and RanchMonitor™. They are designed to provide a complete Farm Asset Management platform across the entire team: general managers, accounting staff, ranch managers, agronomists, sustainability professionals and field crew. AgMonitor operates at half the cost of traditional solutions and have been adopted by multi-generational farms (Bowles Farming, Terranova Ranch, etc.), corporate processors (Olam Food Ingredients, Fowler Packing, etc.) and institutional funds (AgIS Capital, Nuveen, etc.). Key Responsibilities Work closely with Program Director and Tech Support to deliver Professional Service projects Absorb technical knowledge and become a superuser of AgMonitor at the nexus of Energy & Water Support existing clients through digital transformation and own customer success (Level 7-10) Follow-up with meetings and leverage our SaaS platform to provide actionable insights Articulate our value proposition and demonstrate measurable impact ($/kWh, kWh/AF, Ton/AF) Collaborate with R&D team and product manager on advanced projects (CEC, CDFA, or GSA) to solve real-world challenges and prototype new features Build and maintain strong, consultative relationships with clients and partners Skills, Knowledge and Expertise 3+ years of experience in food sector or energy services. Exposure to AI a plus Bachelor’s degree in Crop Science, Environmental Science, or Engineering Experience working with messy real data using statistical tools (e.g. Excel, R, or Python) Familiarity with utility rate structures and irrigation systems. Exposure to batteries a plus Strong analytical skills and experience with CRM or Support Ticket Ticketing systems Comfortable working with colleagues at our Fresno office and on-site with customers.
